The Trustee Board wish to ensure a culture of inclusivity within the Faculty. The Trustee Board first requested a diversity review of the FCI Membership in 2020. The reports below identify priority areas for increasing diversity and recommendations for how diversity could be promoted in these areas.
Our Equality and Diversity Policy outlines our commitment to ensuring the FCI operates in a fair environment which is free from any form of discrimination.
We recognise that low diversity in our membership limits the FCI's ability to provide accurate, representative views of clinical informaticians as a whole.
It can also result in a lack of equal opportunities to join and progress within the organisation. This could mean some Members are not being as fully supported by the Faculty as they could be.
